Restoring And Re-Vitalizing Relationships, Part 2

An Embodied NVC Practice

With Jacqueline Muller

Tuesday, September 10, 6-9 PM

2 classes on Tuesdays, August 27, & September 10, 2019 in Boulder, 6 – 9 PM. Classes can be taken separately or as a series.

The theme of these next Embodied NVC classes explores how we human beings thrive when we are in nurturing and enriching relationships. We expand and grow when we engage in interactions where we are seen and heard as we contribute to each other’s wellbeing. Yet at times some of our relationships can be less than nurturing or inspiring, and can even be very difficult.

The Embodied NVC Practice: In these classes we will engage in transformative, restorative, and empowering NVC processes that have supported and resourced my yearning for clarity, deep learning, and agency over many years. These embodied practices will illuminate habitual patterns, develop skills that support understanding and compassion, and strengthen our ability to pause and choose how to respond and engage with life's happenings

Have you ever experienced:
• A distancing in a relationship you cared about?
• A lack of vitality in a relationship?
• A breakup in communication with a friend or a loved one?

When any of these occurrences happened how was it for you?
• Did you feel hopeless?
• Did you have ideas on how to address them?
• Did anything you may have said or done change the dynamic?
• Did you ignore what happened and moved on?

In NVC we bring our awareness to what is alive in us at any given moment and on how to express this authentically. In this class we will bring our attention to relationships that may have been broken through past interactions or word exchanges or that may have lost their zest and vitality.

In part 1 of this class (August 27) we will engage in honest dialogues based on our need for clarity and authenticity as well as our genuine desire for mutuality and shared empowerment.

In part 2 of this class (September 10) we will engage in a Restorative Circle. This process is often used when there is a conflict between people or when harm has been experienced. It can also be an empowering process to explore a meaningful aspect of our lives that is calling for our attention. A Restorative Circle deepens our sense of belonging and community when we speak from the depth of our being.

I look forward to continuing our deep explorations and practices with those of you who choose to attend.
